Browse Internet Privately - Private Browsing.

Hello Friends!!
This article is all about private web browsing.
Privacy features such as InPrivate browsing in Internet Explorer 8 and similar features in Chrome and Firefox promise to protect your privacy by not keeping track of page history, temporary files and cookies. 

However, there are still traces of what sites you visit within the local DNS cache.

Let's see how your browsing history can be recovered.
 
Note: You must be looged in as the administrator for this.

1, Click Start and click Run.
2, Type cmd and hit enter. 
3, Type ipconfig/displaydns and hit enter.

It will show you the websites you have visited.

Countermeasure

1, Open cmd.
2, Type ipconfig/flushdns and hit enter.
3, Bingo, your browsing history has been cleared.

Note: For clearing the Local DNS Cache using the above command, you need to be logged in as administrator.
